Aspiring actors, with many a Bollywood dream, join the Funshaala.

These actors will be coached in the worst clichés of movie industry by the has-beens of Bollywood in a manner out of sync with the present style. Will the teachers be able to teach the worst and are the students willing and able to learn the WORST to become the BEST…a hilarious contest worth the trouble. Acting Ki Funshala will tickle the funny bone as the contestants are ordinary people without any acting experience. Effectively, the show is training amateurs for comedy.

The show is an attempt to search for a pair of comic actors whose humour and wit matches that of a professional comedian. Conceptualised by Miditech and hosted by Anu Kapoor, the show is in the format of an acting school where 10 aspirants, selected from different parts of India, will undertake a series of hilarious tasks.

For 13 weeks, the contestants will learn the nuances of comedy acting from celebrity judges and the faculty of Acting Ki Funshala. Living in the same house, contestants will be under scrutiny 24 hours through cameras.

The winning pair will get to star in a movie that will telecast on Sab. The channel has roped in Vodafone as presenting partner

Watch Acting Ki Funshala on SAB every Friday at 8 PM.
