Over the past 17 years, Miditech has produced over 1400 hours of programming and has won over 75 national and international awards. Today, Miditech is recognized for its work across a wide spectrum of genres including factual programming, documentaries, reality, drama, sports, lifestyle and children’s entertainment. It’s impressive client list includes major broadcasters like Turner (Pogo), News Corp (Star Plus, Star World, Star Gold), the Zee Network , BBC, Disney, Doordarshan, Viacom18 (MTV), Times Network (Zoom), Multi Screen Media (Sony), Real Global Broadcasting (REAL) and many others.
Miditech not only pioneered reality programming in India with the series Hospital for the BBC in 1998, it is also today, the market leader when it comes to adapting international formats for Indian audiences. Amongst the mega scale international shows it has produced in India are Indian Idol (Pop Idol), Galli Galli Sim Sim (Sesame Street), Poker Face, Deal orNo Deal, Extreme Makeover, Fame Gurukul (Fame Academy) amongst others.
While it continues to adapt international formats for India, Miditech has built a formidable reputation when it comes to developing original formats and original drama series for the domestic market. Amongst the original shows it has developed that have proven to be big winners for the broadcasters that invested in them are Roadies (MTV), Jeena Isi Ka NamHain (Doordarshan), Living on the Edge (Doordarshan/ Star), SaaraAakash (Star) and many more. Miditech has a large number of Government, Non Government and Corporate clients it produces content for, including GMR, AVIVA, UNICEF, UNDP, Local State Governments and the Indian Federal Government.

Recently, Miditech has expanded into animation production and event management. The original animation it produced for Galli Galli Sim Sim (Sesame Street) won 10 awards in India and abroad in a single year. These awards are a testimony to the quality of the animation Miditech produces. Miditech is currently developing original animation series for the international market and is looking to expand aggressively in this space.
Over the years Miditech has won over 75 national and international awards. Amongst these are the Green Oscar (Panda Award), numerous Asian Television Awards, Indian Telly Awards, Indian Academy Awards, The Silver Tree, The Pinnacle, The Annecy Animation Award, The RAPA awards and many others. In 2007, the Ministry of Science and Technology awarded Niret Alva with a National Award for outstanding contribution in the field of science and technology. Niret, Nikhil and Nivedith Alva were also inducted into The Hall Of Fame by The Indian Telly Awards in 2008.
